    Brayant plus 80 working speratically
Hello I have a bryant plus 80 just hitting 5 years old, model number 311aav/jav. Here's the problem, We started the thing up and its just doing what it wants when it wants. We changed the filter, cleaned the sensors as suggested in a couple of other posts , changed and updated the thermostat to a programmable one. It cycles and doesn't complete the cycle. The error code blinks 33 then after a short time locks out to a 13 code. It reboots after some time and then it only runs for about a minute or two and does it all over again. We have even tried to manually switch the system down with the outside switch and turn it back on again and then the furnace starts up and repeats the problem. When we cleaned the sensors it ran a little longer but still basically did the same. Also it won't acknowledge the thermostat at all. I have even tried to jack the thing up to 80 and the only time it turns on is when it resets itself from lock out or done manually. We even exchanged the new one for a different one all together in case it could have been faulty.
If anyone can shed some light on this I would greatly appreciate it. I kind of tried to search the older posts to see if maybe I could find an answer.lol Thanks in advance.

I forgot to mention that this unit is electric ignitor and natural gas. On the manual it says as follows, "single stage deluxe induced combustion 4 way multipoise furnace. Don't know if that helps at all, bu figured the more info you had the better it may help. Thanks

In case anyone was wondering I figured out what the problem was. We reset the programmable thhermostat, serviced the furnace, thourough cleaning of sensors(this took about six times just to be safe last time is what did it.) We even checked the chimney. We had that cleaned just to make sure there was no blockage, changed the filter, and then after leaving the furnace off for two days while doing this all we turned it back on. (aside from turning it on to see if it worked. Oh and just to be sure we cleaned out all the registers to to make sure nothing blocked anything their either. I don't know which worked but its been on all day and knock on wood so far so good. From what I read in the service manual the error 33 code could have been a few things so we troubleshooted each option as best we could. If this doesn't work I guess my next option is to either price a new furnace or start pricing parts. I priced the circuit boards and they can get really pricy fast. So I guess it's a horse a piece. Anyway I hope that maybe this is what it really was and that this might help the next person thanks.
