Matt, not such a great idea to post personal info on the open forum like this. You can find one of Harolds posts and click his namee, then send a private message. We usually do everything on an open page rather than phone calls and messages, just so others can follow along and chime in.

Agree with Ballengerb1. Send him PM and erase the number. I hope Tom will notice it soon and erases it...

Why not, because someone might call me? I've been using personal forums for 15 years and have yet to have incident with posting my phone number. It is already publicly available on any phone book website.

You would find that if you try to click Harold's name, there is no contact information nor private messaging option for him. So that is why I have made this post.

Following up... is it possible that I'm not privileged to send private messages until I've reached a certain post count? Perhaps that's why the option is missing on my screen.

This could be due to how you completed your registration on this desk. There is no contact info for you either at this point. Review your profile to see if you skipped anything.

I PM'd Harold with the contents of post #1. I will RIP post #1 and ask to have contact info removed.

Remember the account has to have some age to it before certain things happen. I do suggest that you start a discussion because there is a lot more expertise on this site than from one person.

For some privledges to happen, the account has to be at least 24 hours old. For instance, I don't think you can edit your posts either. When that ability starts, you only have it for a 24 hr window.

It is good to know that you have positive experiences with posting your private info on the web. Hopefully, this will one day arrive in my area, too... :-)

With Craigslist, posts expire and are removed. Here, posts NEVER expire and only under very rare conditions removed.. SPAM and TROLLs posts get removed.
