    When a girl break up with you, and you still treat her to dinner, etc. is it wasted?
    When a girl break up with you, any attempts to treat her out to dinner, movie, etc... to show that you are nice and stuff; are they wasted? Would this be a sign that you are needy and desperate? Would this push her away even more?

    After a breakup the best thing to do to help yourself recover is to go no contact so -no dinners etc .
    Treat yourself to something special instead.

    It depends on what you are expecting from the dinners,etc.
    If you expect that you will win her back with material things than I suspect you will be disappointed.

    A girl who had a poor sense of morals would most likely take advantage of that and that does not sound like someone who is a very great catch.

    Yes,it does appear needy and a tad desperate.

    Best thing after a breakup.Heal yourself and move on.
    And as amicon said... treat yourself,you would get more bang for your buck that that way.

    Yes... it is wasted. Once they become your ex they lose all privileges of that nature. Save your money and heal.

    I like the "more bang for your buck" reference thing. It's just funny. Thanks guys. I think the best thing for me to do is to not treat her out.

    YES! She already knows your nice and stuff, but she still dumped you any way.
    Talaniman Rule-You don't treat an ex like a girlfriend. Thats just not smart. Save your money for more important things...........like beer for Sunday Night Football. The guys will appreciate it more than an ex will.

    Thank you for the response guys. I kind of feel lonely and I just want to go out and eat. Naturally I thought of my ex, but I think I rather take a friend out vs an EX since I think a friend would appreciate it more.

    If you are just two friends, remembering old times, it can happen all the time in a good break up
