    Co-signed student loans
    My husband co-signed our student loans and she has been making the payments consistently for a year now on her own. Can he remove his name from her loans? If so, how? Judij313

    What?

    Your husband co-signed "our" student loans and "she" has been making payments - who did the loan benefit?

    If you want to remove your husband's name from the loan you would have to refinance - unless the loan agency agrees to let him off the hook (which I highly doubt).
