    I need help with this equation
    4x=15+x
    5=2y-1

    Now I've watched other videos but they all seem to have the same varible like
    4x+6y=17
    3x-3y=15

    But I cannot find how to do that one, because the first equation doesn't have a y vairble and the second equation doesn't have an x varible

    I need help with this equation
    4x=15+x
    5=2y-1

    These are simpler still.

    1)
    4x = 15 + x
    4x - x = 15
    3x = 15
    x = 5
    ______________________________________

    2)
    5=2y-1
    5 + 1 = 2y
    2y = 6
    y = 3
