    She want to leave me because of the church I attend
    Hello,
    I have been dating these girl for the past 6 month and I really love her and she did also at inception. ASuddenly she has called the relationsip over because she said she cannot marry anybody that attend any white garment church. I have tried all to convince her but it seem its not working. Please can you help out

    Religion is a very personal matter and affects the person's lifestyle. If your mate is opposed to your religion there is not much you can do to convince them unless your religion does not intervene in your home life... then there is the matter of raising children.

    Religion is one of the most important issues for a couple getting serous. During dating we find out all about someone, for example a Muslim may have a hard issue to marry a Catholic, but if one of them is not very strong in their faith, it may not be as big of issue as if both are.

    So if your religious beleifs are beyond the acceptance of the other, It is best to break them off.

    I still don't understand why people wake up one day and all of a sudden say "Oh you are x religion and I am y religion, we can't date". Why do they even start a relationship with someone in the first place?

    Tell her if love can't overcome such differences that she isn't worth anyone's time.
