    It is highly likely that there have been frauds in relics and the Shroud is a likely candidate

    I agree. I am a strong believer, however, I will not jump at every chance that a religious group offers to have found something of great importance.

    Just because it looks real doesn't mean it is. I guess corruption lies in all aspects of life... even religious matters.
