    Can't remembering a title
    Okay so I read this book years ago. All I can remember is this young girl like 18 or so she just finished a catholic boarding school. Her mother died when she was born and her dad died before she graduated. Her step mother gave her this box that her dad left her from her mother. It had a locket and some other little things inside. She she took the box and went to New Orleans searching for her grandmother or any family from her mothers side. She takes a steamboat(takes place in like 1800) and this older woman who's rich kind of takes her under her wing. I know its not much to go on but its all I got. Please help.:)
