    Burying wire without conduit
I want to install a 50 amp RV outlet about 100 feet from the power panel, this is in the county without any code. WHat kind and what size wire do I use?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I don't mean to overstep my bounds or step on any electricians (pro's) toes, but when you say "this is in the country without any code", my assumption would be to say that state/province code applies all across that state or province? I'm not an expert, but where I'm from (Canada) the electrical code for my province means no matter where you are inside that province you have to abide by the code. I could be in the arctic and I'd still have to follow code. Even if you didn't "have" to, it just makes good sense to follow code for the safety of yourself and others. That's just my 2 cents...

King is correct, there will be a State Code that covers all county's (NOT COUNTRY) in your state.

How do you plan to install this wire? Underground? Aerial? In or on a building?
