    Sure you can if you are having sex. The risk is rather low, but no form of birth control is 100% effective.

    It's highly unlikely and rare to get pregnant with an iud-however it is possible. If you suspect you are, you need to see a physician asap. Having an iud and being pregnant at the same time can cause compllications in the pregnancy. I had mirenda iud for 2 years, so I know... drs told me all of this. Your testing will not be false due to the iud, so test when it's time!
