    What OS?

Any changes that either happened or that you perhaps made to your computer around the time that the problem started; particularly any Software or Hardware that you installed or setup.

When last time everything all right?

    See if this works

Right click on the taskbar and then click the Show Desktop option

Try this first and see if this helps

press CTRL+ALT+DEL to fire up the Task Manager. Now on the File menu, select New Task (Run... ). Type in "explorer" and press OK. That should restart explorer and re-display your Taskbar.
This worked for someone that had same issue
    Try this here:

Press ctrl, alt, and delete (to bring out task manager)
    New task
    Type
    Regedit

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution

    Options\explorer.exe < delete

If this solves your problem, then mark thread solved under thread tools near top of this page

    Is everything normal again?

    For explorer.exe, just type explorer
