    Classified balance sheet - retained earnings
    Would you add your net income or comprehensive income to get your ending balance for retained earnings. I am assuming net income but not positive.

    Can you please no double-post your questions.

    Net income.

    Comprehensive income consists of both net income and "other" comprehensive income. The "other" portion is part of equity but outside of retained earnings.
