    Replace a defrost board in old Goodman unit
    How do I replace a defrost board in a 16 year old air conditioner and do I have to buy a defrost board made by Goodman?

    Any board designed for the unit you have will work. Just make sure you mark/identify the wiring on the old one before you remover the wiring and follow the directions for the new board.
