Goodman igniter not working
I have a Goodman GMP125-5 Rev B. The flue fan starts up and then I hear a click like the igniter should be glowing, but it doesn't. I replaced the igniter last year. I also pulled it and there are no cracks. This is the first time I have attempted to use the heater since last spring. Thanks, Al

Check the board where the ignitor plugs in for power/voltage. You will have to figure a way for your meter to stay attached while you start the furnace. Also check the board for the number of blinks. The blink code will be on the wiring diagram on the back sode of the blower access door.

I get continuous blinking, and I don't have a voltmeter handy. When I fired up the A/C earlier this year the condensation was stuck and got the circuit board wet. I wonder if that got fried?

OUCH it is a good possibility the board is toast but it is always best to test. You could hook a light bulb with some wires attached to the terminals for the ignitor power test but you should have a meter and know how to use it for proper testing.

I found a small test light. Tested OK on an outlet. Plugged in to the 2 wires going to the ignitor. Flue fan turned on, about 10 seconds later I got one dim split second flash on the test light, then a couple of seconds later I hear the click and no power on the test light after that.

The power to the ignitor should have stayed on longer than that. Any blinks on the circuit board? How many?

Look below and you might also look on the back of the blower door for a diagram.

You can try to clean the flame sensor but the board might be shot as was mentioned before.. BTW you are never to touch the ignitor (black/gray) area with your bare hands.

I tested the wire for the ignitor all the way back to the board and no power. Found out it was a stuck relay on the board. I gave the relay a couple of taps and the ignitor kicked on. The heat is on. Thanks for all your help.

Usually the relays cannot be replaced and if it was stuck the board is not safe to be trusted since all the safety devices use the board. I suggest you obtain a replacement ASAP especially since cold weather is around the corner and you would not want to experience a board failure when it is real cold outside.
