    What should I do?
I have a friend that is 16 years old. She has been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder. Used to be on drugs and has been to a lot of help programs. She is now getting better and is perfectly fine except occasionally has a smoke. She told met she up with her ex boyfriend and is thinking of moving in with him. He used to force her to at as a rostitute so they can get money for drugs. She assures me that he is emloyed and is now clean. But still I don't want her to move in with him. How can I try and stop her from moving into his house?
Please help she's a good friend

I would explain to her that its not a good idea if she wants to stay on the right track. She has made lots of positive progress and risks losing all of that. Even though he's employed, doesn't mean he will stay that way. And if he really loved her he wouldn't have pimped her out like he has done previously. He sounds as if he is using her. And she may not realize that.

You can start by stating the positive things that are going for her right now such as her battling her disorder, not being on drugs, her job so on... Then bring in the factor that this guy is not good for her! I mean even a worst enemy would not degrade another by using them as a prostitute and supposidely, he loves her? Even though it's really blunt, be honest and let her know that he is just purely evil. He took advantage of her while she was battling her disease and was on drugs. But, this is a real big problem! Who else have an influence in her life? Her mother? Someone else who loves her dearly? If it gets to a point where she goes with him, you would have to let that person know.

She might be angry but the main point here is to save her life! She will be thankful in the long run.

Also, for her to get clean and take medicine, she accomplished it without him right? Point that to her! Let her know she will succeed and be happy without someone like that. And, make sure that you will be there for her no matter what and how much you care for her.

I believe you are a great friend for being through all these turmoils! This is what friendship and love is about; being there for someone despite all... :)

    I hope this helps!
