    3 weeks late, Trying to conceive #3, Negative results, but have symptoms
    My last period was August 5th. I use a site that tracks my periods for me using information I submit and said my next period was due September 8th. Usually it is correct. BUT I haven't gotten my period yet so now it's saying I'm 21 days late. I did however have extremely light bleeding this month, but I didn't think it could be my period. I couldn't even tell I was bleeding, I only noticed it when I wiped and it was extremely faint/light. I'm usually heavy flow. But on the other hand, when I was pregnant with my son, I didn't experience "implantation bleeding" so I'm not sure if this was my period even though I feel it wasn't. We have been trying to have a baby so we haven't been using any protection for a little over a year now so pregnancy is possible... BUT I took a home pregnancy test two nights ago and it is negative. It could just be that my hormone level was too low to pick up (I went through that with my son. The line was so faint on all the tests I took that I wasn't sure if I should take it as a positive). I don't know.

    I've also experienced a change in my poop, it's "soft" I guess is what you would call it. I've also been having to use the restroom more often than I use to (and no, it's not painful for me to pee). Stomach hurts every now and then like mild cramps, but goes away quickly.

    I don't know if this all points to being pregnant or if maybe I want a baby so bad that I'm allowing myself to think it does since my period is late.

    Your first mistake was taking the pregnancy tests in the evening. HCG, the pregnancy hormone, is most concentrated in first morning urine, so it is advised to use first morning urine for a more accurate response.

    Yes I am aware of that. I was just being impatient and didn't want to wait until morning. I figured if I was 3 weeks late that the results would show regardless.

    Nope, not necessarily. Try taking another one tomorrow morning and see if the results are any different. If not, it may be time for a blood test.

    I'll pick another one up on my next trip to the grocery store which will be in acouple of days. That will also give my period a few more days to show up, just in case my cycle decided to change on me or something
