    Remot controlled hampton bay wiring
Hi, I have a remote controlled Hampton Bay fan that I can not seem to figure out the wiring. My home has a black, white, copper, red and green wires coming from ceiling. The fan only has a black and white wire and a green ground. I have tried numerous different ways of wiring and none are working. The manual states to put the black to the black, white to white and green ground to ground on home. I have tired this and other ways and still no power and no lights come on... can you help?

White to white. Ground to ground (green AND bare is fine). Black to black OR red, try both, see which works better.
