Dog goes into trance like state when exposed to smoke
My 1 yr old lab goes into a trance like state when exposed to smoke from overcooked steak or pancakes or probably any other food. Have not tried to burn other foods yet.Have you heard of this condition? What is cause?

I am not going to say much except that my interruption of your description is not common. We have had tons of Labs in the house for cooking disasters. I remember nose quivering, neck stretching, tail wagging, etc. but no trance.
