    Bumble Bees
AGHHH! I think I have a similar problem... earlier this spring I moved a large garbage can and got swarmed by "bumble" bees... believe me they havd stingers... they stuck to my clothes biying me severaldozen times... I think we counted at least 50 bites from head to toe... found out I'm not allergic!! LOL... but it hurt for about a week... now they moved to a corner of the house... in a crack in the bricks... again.. I was cutting grass last evening about 3 pm... (I didn't know they were there)... and got swarmed... this times the tangled in my hair... I ended up at the ER... AGHHH! I heard you should wait until later in the day to try to get rid of them... as that's when the all go back to the nest... but... I will be doing my home work.. getting bitten is NO fun... and I have to get rid of them.. I don't want them to get inside... good luck...

Kairi, I moved your post to it's own thread. The other was over 2 years old.

You seem to have a nest of Bumble Bees. They're big, bad, and hurt like the ens. Your best bet is to contact a professional since these can hurt a lot, as you have already found out.

This webpage may offer you some more information, but it sounds like they're trying to build inside the walls and I'd really recommend an exterminator

I think you have yellow jackets not bumble bees. Bumble bees die after stinging. Yellow jackets and other hornets and wasps are predators and can sting repeatedly. Your easiest solution is to mark the nest entrance in daylight and return after dark with bug spray and shoot it in the nest. None of these insects fly in the dark. Give them a blast and get away fast.

Good luck with that. It might work, IF they're yellowjackets. How large were the individual insects?
