    Problems with home air conditioning
My aircontioner seems to cut out for a few seconds and then comes back on. It is a carrier and I haven't had this problem before. Can anyone tell me what this might be? Thank you anyone.

Can you give us a more detailed description of what is happening. What part of the ac system is cutting out. The outside unit, or the inside blower, or both. Do you have a mercury controlled thermostat? Please let us know more. Lee.

No I have a programmable thermostat. And I'm not sure what is cutting out. You can hear it in the vent like it is going to shut off and then cuts back in again. I have never heard this before and I'm hoping I'm not going to start having problems. But I think it's the inside blower. I would apprecitate any input you may have and thanks

I suggest having the system looked at by a pro. Catch the problem before it becomes more of an issue. There are many things that could be causing your problem. Sorry, without being there, there are just to many things to guess at. Good luck and please let us know what you decide. Lee.
