    Line of Credit and statements
My father passed away and now we have to pay his outstanding loc. Currently we are all contributing payments until we have a better plan in place. Are we entitled to a copy of bank statement regarding this account? I am highly suspect of money that was withdrawn:eek: from that account days, or weeks prior to his death. Thank you in advance.:)

I live in Canada, and the executor thing is kind of a problem... as he is my brother. If I asked him for a copy, can he refuse or does he have to give me one? I would like to see what transactions took place.

I would ask him - is he the executor?

If he IS the executor no matter whether he's your brother, he MUST give the other heirs copies of the pertinent documents.

    (These family problems are nightmares!)
