    Insulating an outdoor room
I live in a trailer in Florida. One of my rooms looks like it was once a porch. The walls and roof are either metal or tin... I would like to insulate the room at put an AC wall unit in to cool the room down. What is the best way for me to insulate the room to bring the tempurature down?

    Thank You!

The best way would be to use the pressed insulation board. They sell various thicknesses. The thicker the more money though. In an outdoor room like that you also want to insulate the ceiling. You can use the insulation board on the ceiling and then cover it with a wood paneling. Same for the walls. This way the insulation board won't take up too much room in the porch area. If you tried to use regular batting insulation, you'll have to fight to keep it in place. Insulation board is well worth the extra money in the long run.
