    Excon and the winger
    Hello:

It has recently come to my attention that the Wolverine and I argue a lot. Yes, it HAS gotten hard and heavy recently - but so has the national conversation.

Some of you have said you don't like what we do.. Others have said they learn a lot from it. What say you?

Multiple choice. Vote once. Your vote is PRIVATE.

American politics seems very divisive and antagonistic. Of course not everyone is like that, I've noticed this during my trips to the US. It's tough to watch in this forum though.

I have given some historical content to this issue before . What happens here is marshmallow compared to the debates of the past.

I have to say I consider myself maybe a 6th. Grader when it come to politics, before 9/11 I could not have properly described the differencs between republicans/democrates liberal/conservative.I wouldn't say I have learned much from reading your threads, but I do find them as another source of information. The only proublem I have is when someone makes a reply and their education, experience or background are questioned?

The question is why not use ETWolverine's screen name instead of "winger" and "redneck"?

I think you both are regressing to school yard behavior.

I get a laugh out of it, unfortunately 99% of the time I have no idea what they are talking about but do enjoy the banter.
It seems nasty but I am guessing it is all in fun

Another problem with this poll is that it doesn't take into consideration the fact that excon spends more time getting his butt kicked that he does kicking someone else's. That option isn't given...

    Hello again:

I think the powers that be are going to grace the masses with the ability to poll once again. How disgusting!

    Hello again, Need:

How can you abuse a poll? And, if they did, I'm sure there'll be someone around who'll cut 'em off at the knees.

Can you do "Heads I win, tails you lose" with a poll?

That's just about the only abuse I could think of...

But I still don't have poll access in Current Events.

I didn't find a place in the poll for amusing but that is where I would place it.
Amusing and for the most part harmless.

I have no problem with an honest disagreement. I do have a problem when it turns to personal insults. I honestly don't know if that's happened between the two of you.

There should be a category for "it doesn't affect me in any way so go at it."
