Binomial Expansion [ 3 Answers ]

Um, just had a little problem the other day during a test. The first three terms in the expansion of the binomial (a+b)^n are 729, 2916 and 4860 respectively. Find a, b and n. I started with (a+b)^n = a^n + ^{n}{C}_{1}(a)^{n-1}(b)^1 + ^{n}{C}_{2}(a)^{n-2}(b)^2 Then equated the terms;
