    Chapt 13 and inheritance
    I am currentlyin Chapt 13. My mother who recently passed away had my name on all of her checking account. Does any or all of that money need to be paid to the trustee?

    This has to be reported to the Trustee who will advise you.

    I say, yes, it will be used to repay creditors. You can't walk away from your debts and still hold inherited money to the side.
