I believe it can be done.
    Hello:

Am very grateful for all the accurate answers I received on the question I posted.

I wish I could be helped on this one too as well.

I'm talking about my computer... With the right hardware, software and internet connections, how can I produce, publish, perform and list for sale on the internet, ANY piece of music I come up with. How can I do ALL this from my home in Ghana.

This isn't an easy task. But I'll tell you what I know-

Are you a singer, DJ or what? IF you can transfer your music onto your computer from decks, then skip the next paragraph.

If you're looking for cheap ways of recording, I recommend getting a microphone, guitar amplifier and adapters for use on computer. If you have the money, you can get various pieces of recording equipment (kinda like pa systems, just with usb outputs) which come with their own software, and are incredibly effective (my old guitar teacher used to use one for guitar, vocals and mixing). I recommend downloading Adobe audition (get a torrent then serial) for editing the audio though. Recording studios use bespoke software, but I've seen radio stations use this and it worked amazingly for jingles.

Getting it for sale on the internet can be easy if you know where to go. Try SongCast - Music Distribution. I haven't heard a lot about it, but it worked for a friend's band. You'll probably need a paypal account for it to work.

    Hi, gyasiman!

Why are you wanting to sell you music via the Internet, please? If you do that, others could potentially just redistribute it in a physical form without your knowledge and hence, no profit for you.

    Thanks!

Yeah myspace will do it, and only people with experience can rip music off it... I think. Haven't used myspace in a while

    Hi again, gyasiman!

The simplest way for someone to record something off a site on the Internet would be to put a microphone up to a speaker or both speakers and simply make a recording using what ever recording device they have that is apart from the computer. If someone does that, they might also have a program where they can make inprovements to the sound of what was recorded from the speakers.

Do you plan on performing your music in front of a live audience, please?

    Thanks!

Sadly, it's even easier than that these days.
I know several people who can just click a button and rip people videos and sound files off a website :(

Personally I would be making "sound bytes"
Just a 30 second "preview" of your song, and then if people like the short preview then they can opt to contact you and download/buy the entire song.

    :)
