    WeedEater disengages gear drive
I have a nearly new Weed Eater Featherlite weedeater. It's the FX26sc. It keeps jumping out of gear. I've tightened everything over and over. The weedeater will work just fine and then act like it disengages the drive train. That's the only know how I know to describe it. Any help would sure be appreciated.

    Hi,
First thing to say is that it is probably under warranty. It is in the driveshaft, but since these are split-shaft machines, there are 4 ends that could be the culprit (it generally is the ends) either out of place or rounded/broken.
I realize that it is probably a mass merchant machine, but a receipt in hand might get a replacement/refund if new enough. At any rate manual is here:

    And parts breakdown is here:
    http://weborder.husqvarna.com/order_...-952711941.pdf
But it should probably be warranty; explore the possibilities with the point of purchase first and a warrnty dealer second.
    Peace,
    Clarke

I have a 2003 Honda Accord. Every other time I turn on my car I have difficulty getting the car out of park. It takes several attempts to get the car into gear (Reverse , Drive, etc.) and sometimes I have to turn the wheel in order for it to work. What do you think is the problem?
