This isn't an easy task. But I'll tell you what I know-
Are you a singer, DJ or what? IF you can transfer your music onto your computer from decks, then skip the next paragraph.
If you're looking for cheap ways of recording, I recommend getting a microphone, guitar amplifier and adapters for use on computer. If you have the money, you can get various pieces of recording equipment (kinda like pa systems, just with usb outputs) which come with their own software, and are incredibly effective (my old guitar teacher used to use one for guitar, vocals and mixing). I recommend downloading Adobe audition (get a torrent then serial) for editing the audio though. Recording studios use bespoke software, but I've seen radio stations use this and it worked amazingly for jingles.
Getting it for sale on the internet can be easy if you know where to go. Try
SongCast - Music Distribution. I haven't heard a lot about it, but it worked for a friend's band. You'll probably need a paypal account for it to work.
