    Skin allergies
Hi,I have a white Bull terrier that suffers skin allergies around spring time.At the moment he's been licking his front legs non stop. The skin is red raw and there's fur missing. Is there a cream or tablet he can take to help it.The vet bill is too expensive for me to obtain all the time.My kids love him and we don't want to part with him.Is there a cheaper way through this. Unfortunately you will need to talk to your vet about getting medication for him.A lot of vets will give you a discount if your dog has a recurring problem that you need to keep going back for...
Our vet even gives us medication without us having to bring the dog in (for things like allergies or other non-serious problems) as long as he has examined the dog before.

For now, until you can get an appointment you can try some calamine lotion on any extremely itchy areas and get him an E-collar to stop him biting and licking the sore spots.

Have you considered looking at plants in your yard to see if any of them flower at the times he gets itchy?
It might be time ot rip those flowers out throw them away.
