[Diesel4352]

I have a 91 f250 7.3l diesel, and it takes a good 2-3 min to start I try it the first time and it starts then dies instantly, then it take a few good try's to get it started then when it finally does it blows out gray/white smoke not the normal black smoke... any ideas what needs to be don't. Also after it runs and sits it always starts rite up??

Ensure that the oil and filter have been changed recently and that the oil is up to the "Full" line. This is very important on PSDs. I would also check the injectors--you may have too much air and not enough fuel. Go over all of the standard stuff; e.g. air filter, fuel filter, water purging, etc. I would also check the glow plugs.
