    Stuck shower valve
I have a dripping shower tub faucet so I'm trying to replace the cold and hot water valve stems. I bought a shower valve wrench set to remove them but it is stuck so hard that I stripped the wrench. Any ideas? Much obliged!

Did you buy a single wrench or a set. Sounds like you used a size that is slightly to large.

Stuck valve stem [ 1 Answers ]

I'm trying to remove the valve stem in the shower (hot water) and I can't get the stem to come out. The piece that has the flat sides (only 2) I believe is supposed to unscrew and it won't budge. I would like to avoid breaking it but it won't budge. What can I try?
