I need help finding the title of this book... PLEASE HELP!
About two years ago I read the most amazing book I have ever read. It was beautiful and I haven't been able to find it since.
I have searched everywhere but I can't find it. It is a teenager's fiction and I can only vaguely remember it. It is set in the twenties I tihnk and is about some youngsters who go to stay in the mountains. They are rich and one person has a child and I remember her trying to kill herself. They all decide to live together when they get home and most of them work for the richest of the lot, as a way of keeping the house together. They decide to pull off a scam with the race horses and end up cheating somehow. I remember how the main female character has to fant for a diversion but the main male character tells her 'not to over do it'. At the end they fall in love but one of them dies, it moved me and it is killing me that I can't remember the title or the author. I really want to knnow what this book is. I tihnk the front cover had a watercolour picture on it with mountains? And a girl in a field? Please help... it woud make me so happy. Haha I am only sixteen. Xxx |
