I'm 5'6" and 145lbs. If I had a mustache and a belly I would look like super mario.

    I got you beat.

I'm 5'4", 200 lbs. I already have the belly. I look more like Mario's pet baby elephant.

I've got a size 6 shoe... my foot is PARTICULARLY small even for my height. Good for martial arts (the same amount of power striking a smaller area makes for a more effective kick) but bad for buying shoes.

I happen to like Shoebuy.com. They've got a decent selection of shoes in a pretty decent variety of sizes. I haven't tried Zappos. Thanks for the tip, I'll check them out.

    Political parties:

GOP still has a few standards and tends to hold its members to those standards.

Dem does not hold its members to any standard. How can members be held to a standard that does not exist?

It is pure hypocrisy to hold the opposition to standards that you don't even believe in.

    Hello gal:

You don't mean, do you, that Democrats, no matter WHAT standards they have or don't have, can't even MENTION when a rightwinger VIOLATES a standard that HE HIMSELF (the rightwinger) believes in??

I don't think you mean that.

I said it is hypocritacal when he does. Because organizationally, they won't criticize their own.

Obviously, there are individual Democrats who do criticize their own, but that is not the party SOP.

Ahhhh, but you see, excon refuses to acknowledge hyporacy on the left. He seems to think that Republicans should be called on everything, and Dems should be called on nothing... because Reps sometimes fail to live up to their own high standards and Dems should hold the Reps to those standards, but Dems HAVE no standards, and therefore violate nothing. He fails to see that Dems should be held to the same standards to which they hold Reps. Because if they are to be the arbiters and judges of Reps and thair falures, they should be living up to the same standards that they judge others for.

But the number of times that Dems are not only not held to the same standard as Reps, but are actually celebrated for their infidelities and failures of social values, has been thoroughly documented.

    Hello again, El:

You were a lot more fun to argue with when you told the truth.. There ARE enough differences between us to keep us arguing into the next millennium.. So, you don't have to make up stuff... But, I guess that's your nature...

    excon,

I have rarely seen you criticize a Dem for their infidelities. But you have never missed a chance to do so for a Rep. You exhibit a clear double standard on this issue. Call it a lie if you want. But your own actions are pretty clear to me.
