Hello people,

I am looking for an animation film probably back from the '80s.
Here is what I remember,
1. main character is a strong blonde haired male youngster (not he-man)
2. He lives in a grassland in a farm house with his wife
3. one day he meets a stranger that gives him a vehicle (futuristic) and tells him to fulfill a mission.
4. the hero goes to a town and passes by a river that weird ghosts are scaring the out of him
5. Through out the movie, a war is happening between two cities or sth.
6. an army also passes by that haunted river-forest and a ghost ends up to be an arrow.
6. at a point, he and another guy brake down a water dam and a city gets flowed
7. as the war continuous, a bomb hits his house and his wife dies.
8. There is a huge (like, reeeeally huge) tree somewhere in a field.
