Rights of surviving children left with a high mortgage.
My mother died 3 months ago without leaving a will, but she did leave a house on an acre of property for which she owed a high mortgage. I am lost and don't know what steps that I need to take to secure the property. The mortgage company is no help at all, I feel that they are ready to swipe the property out from under my feet.
