    Work for someone just realeased from prison?
    Hello, I was just realeased from a ct. state prison for violation of probation, I was in prison for a alcohol related offence, I'm a highly skilled carpenter who due to my felony convictions can't see to get a job anywhere. Can anybody tell me if there's anything or anyone that can help me? I really need a job I'm getting desperate. Thank you for taking the time to read this

    It's a tough market, even without a felony record, especially in the service industry.

    Are you still on probation? Your PO should be a decent resource to the services available in the area for job related issues.

    Maybe you ought to try the freelance, self-employment thing. If you'd like to do that, I can help you in marketing yourself on the Internet. Most of the new business that I get comes from the ads that I've placed for free on the Internet.
