    Not disclosing the history of a vehicle before purchase

    I don't think it's a law that the car dealer has to divulge the history of the car, but the car dealer has to produce a Roadworthy Certificate from a licensed mechanic (at least in Ontario). It behooves you, as a purchaser, to learn the history of the automobile you intend to purchase.
