I swear, I have thought this movie was Frequency, Contact, and all those other weird sci-fi alien flicks from the 90's. I used to work at Blockbuster and this is one of the movies that customers would always say, "I've seen that!" but they could never think of the title and all they recalled was the final scene.

In the final scene, a black kid (I think he was a main character throughout the movie) is standing in... I don't recal, but it looks like a place with hills or... lotsa room to run.

And if I recall, the boys legs snap at the knee in the opposite direction, kind of like a werewolf might, and he runs out away from the camera. And that's it.

And I could swear it's an ending where you're surprised because you don't ever suspect that kid of being an alien.
