Aid Me In My University Hardships
Hey there, I'm planning on attending the University of Western Ontario, so hopefully there's a UWO student on this site that can provide some first hand knowledge. I want to study Psychology, and take it into a graduate program, and hopefully obtain a PhD so I can begin a career in Psychology Research. I want to know the best way of doing this, what I should prepare for, if there's anything I can do now that will help me in the future, what to expect, and the type of math ill be getting into (statistics, ect). Also, id like to know if there's some way I can follow my psychology degree up with some other degree in philosophy. What are the other degrees I could be getting? Any other university information would be wonderful- I seem to lack any knowledge of how university works, it's a bummer. Any help would be much appreciated! =D

I doubt you'll find anyone here that attended UWO doing the same path as you. Much of these questions can be answered by visiting their website. School starts next week, perhaps you could visit their Office of the Registrar @ The University of Western Ontario

Does it seem like an arbitrary path to take considering my career choice? I could go there, but that requires appointments, which are hard to obtain, especially this close to the beginning of the new school year

You start one step at a time. You're only first year so you can make adjustments easily. Get that app't and ask your questions to the experts there.
