Power Stroke- power and smoke
I provided detailed info on the last question, but that question got lost in the system apparently.
So briefly, I have a 2005 Power Stoke F-350. Loss of power and smoking. Had it in to the dealer 4 to 5 times... no resolution. I think it is the turbo. They replaced turbo parts and a sensor. It is still smoking... also loses coolant through the system somehow? Any ideas? |

After you solve the coolant problem, start using full-synthetic diesel HDEO, to prevent future problems with your turbo. I have a 95 Power stroke 4x4 5 speed. When the truck is idling it runs pretty good, but when you drive it after so long, or come up to a corner it acts like it is missing and loses power so it barley wants to pull itself. Do you have any idea why,any suggestions would be very helpful. Thanks

I'm having problem with 2005 ford power stroke. It is hard to start in the morning. But after about 30 min of sputtering and knoking it will start to smooth out and run. I have a Bully dog on it.
