    Doxie With Possible IVDD
Hi I have a ten and a half year old dachshund, with possible IVDD, we brought him to the vet this afternoon after the first symptom of his legs not working he couldn't even stand properly. :( . So after his exam and a X-ray the vet told us that there are no signs of disc damage, so she gave him a steroid shot and some anti inflammatory tablets for his back he is sleeping atm, and was wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

    Many Thanks

Over time, I have seen some dogs recover from IVDD almost completely, but I have also seen some dogs forced to resort to the use of a doggie-wheelchair.
But if there are no signs on rads, hopefully your pooch will bounce back within the next few weeks. :)

How can I get my 9 month old Doxie pups from running away from me? I've "had it" with the both of them and ready to...

Can you help me with my Doxie-Pom? [ 2 Answers ]

I have had my adorable little Doxie/Pomeranian puppy, Sparky, for a little over a week now. The Doxie is definitely predominant in him. He's been to the vet, and is being treated for parvovirus. How serious is this? The vet said it's rare for a puppy to die from it, but that doesn't exactly...
