    Whte stain on slate floor
    I have a slate floor in my dining room. I accidentally spilled a mixture of alcohol, ammonia andf liquid dish detergent on it and it left a huge white stain. I've tried everything to get rid of the stain with no success. Any ideas out there?

    Muratic acid might work but becareful! Wear rubber gloves and goggles

    The alcohol and ammonia are gone leaving behind the soap which is water soliable. Have you tried washing the area with TSP?
