    Slow fan speeds
I have a hampton bay ceiling fan with a remote.all three fan speeds are slow and there is a humming coming from the motor. The light fixture seems to be fine. Is the fan motor bad?

I concur. Is it a remote fan? If not, bad capacitor. If so, bad receiver.
