    Child Support
I have a 23 year old son who was born in Philadelphia, PA. My ex-husband has only paid me child support for about 6 months. There has never been a child support order. My son has developmental disabilities. Can I sue his father for child support?

Depending on the level of disabilities, possibly.

The fact that there has never been a support order will not help your case. I would recommend speaking to a lawyer in your area. 23 is usually above the age of support, but this may be a special case.

You would have to hire a lawyer and you wouldn't sue for support. You would simply be asking for a support order to be put in place. However, the fact that you went this long with out one dosen't bode well for your case even with the disabilities. He is not a minor anymore and that was the time to file for support.
