    Back Orifice Plugins
I had this trojan virus on my computer, I managed to get rid of it by now every so often my anti virus detects a plugin with its name on: BDS/BO2K in a file called system volume information/restore on the C drive. Is there any way to permanently rid my PC of this software?

    Two ways to do this.

1/ Simply turn system restore off and on again.
    Right click My Computer
Properties > System Restore Tab > Uncheck box > OK all messages > recheck box.
    This removes ALL restore points.

2/ Open My Computer > Right click C: drive > General Tab > Disc Clean Up button > once it scans your system use the Other Tab > Clean up Restore points.

Option 1/ would probably be you best bet as this ensures all trace of this pest is removed.

    Hope this helps
