    Assuming a co-signed mortgage
How do I assume full responsibility for a mortgage that I co-signed for my daughter. I have already assumed paying the mortgage. She approved of my taking over.

    Thanks

    Hello H:

In other words, how do you get the daughter off the mortgage... The answer is, you don't. The bank isn't going to let her off. Why would they?

Let's hope you're on the title, or you'll be buying your daughter a nice home.

Can mortgage be quick claimed to co-signer?
Can the primary mortgage holder quick claim the mortgage to me the co-signer? My daughter wants out. I am already living in the house and paying the mortgage for two years. What are my options?

A mortgage is not property that cen be transferred to another party, at least not without the lender's approval.

What you need to do is obtain your own financing and buy your daughter out.
