First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on someone else's. This can lead to confusion. You should start a new thread. So I've moved your question to its own thread.

Next I doubt if you have a lien, but rat5her an attachment. A lien is an encumbrance places on real property that prevents it from being sold until the lien is satisfied. Sounds like you owe child support and the support collection agency attached your account to pay the arrears.

The question is whether the attachment is valid. Do you, in fact, owe the money?
