Change of Criminal Charge after Arraignment.
Can a prosecutor change a criminal charge after the arraignment and if it is different from the citation the Police Officer Issued?

I've actually had that happen to me, I was charged with felony criminal damage to property (since the total was greater than 300 dollars) but when I got to my arraignment, it ended up being reduced to a misdemeanor and "not totalling greater than 300 dollars anymore) just by magic
So my guess is, they can do whatever they want

    Hello a:

The can charge you at any time with anything they want. They just have to arraign you on each charge.
