    Ceiling fan remote
    have a designers choice ceiling fa..my wife moved the switches on dip switch now fan wont operate with remote,,fan goes on with pullchain..but not light,,any help? Thanks

    You might try the procedure I outline in this post.

    Note that if you only have 3 switches, drop SW1 completely from my chart, and just do Try 1-8.

    Locate the switches in the fan and match them.

    BTW if everything operates with the pullchains, you might want to consider removing the remote/receiver and wiring the fan without it.
