What kind of lien? Mechanics lien? Lien due to Judgment?

Judgements, of course, are reported and I have also seen Mechanics liens - if there is a dispute involved - also reported.

Generally a lien is imposed because of a debt. If the lien is being taken as security for a loan then then it depends on the status of the loan. If its taken because you defaulted on a debt, then it may affect your credit rating if the creditor reports it. Some credit bureaus will pick up the dispute because of the legal filing.
